EATING AND DRINKING
TRADITIONAL AND REGIONAL – SIMPLY GOOD
Enjoy traditional Bavarian food in our charming hotel restaurant. This is where Karlheinz Mair and his team offer a wide range of local specialities on a daily basis.
Whether it’s the Bavarian-style meat loaf (Leberkäs), grilled scampi served with garden salad or Hachinger Hof’s pan-fried fillets, our menu features daily changing seasonal specials, so there really is something for everyone, however big their appetite. Our specialities are always freshly cooked with the highest quality locally sourced ingredients. And, we will happily serve you a cold Bavarian beer or refreshing glass of good wine to go with your meal.
RUN BY THE SECOND GENERATION OF THE MAIR FAMILY
As a traditional family run business, we know exactly what our guests want. The Hachinger Hof was originally built and opened by Theresia and Karlheinz Mair in 1984. It has been run as a privately-owned hotel for almost 40 years. With sons Werner and Sebastian at the helm the hotel’s future is secure.
In other words, you will always be greeted by a member of the family who will invariably be friendly and ready to help.
EXPLORE THE AREA
The Hachinger Hof is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside, Munich, or Upper Bavaria’s numerous other attractions. Whether it’s the Neuschwanstein palace of Bavaria’s “fairy-tale” king, Ludwig II, a trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a ride to the top of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, an excursion to listen to the Königsee echo, or just a hike to the top of an alpine foothill: you can do it all from Oberhaching. Whatever you do in Munich, you won’t need a car as you can get everywhere by public transport.
